Good mental health isn’t just the absence of mental health problems. Being mentally or emotionally healthy is much more than being free of depression, anxiety, or other psychological issues.
On 4th July, AkarakA scholars from Ngee Ann Polytechnic Singapore & Monark Foundation, Philippines had an exciting opportunity to be mentored by Resilience Collective (RC), a Deutsche Bank supported charity that specializes in providing support and guidance on mental health issues. Most volunteers at RC have themselves experienced some form of trauma or mental stress, are willing to share their stories to help others.
We extend our gratitude to Shuet-Li Goh, Emmeline Lim, Ben & Coco, for sharing their stories and presenting mechanisms to build good mental health & navigate in tough challenging times.
Thanks to Akash Mohapatra, Min-Hui Fong, Shivani Bhargava & Anuj Govil, for their continued support. Thanks to Prof Mario Goh from Ngee Ann Polytechnic to join us!
